Our firm

Altieri, Gaona y Hooper, S.C. is a medium-sized auditing and business consulting firm founded in 1957. Our firm presently consists of approximately 50 persons, including the five partners shown below:

Sealtiel A. Alatriste, Italo Altieri S., and Eugenio Sisto V., who founded our Firm, were professors at the Universidad Nacional Autonóma de México. They taught us that the most important thing is to render useful, top quality services to our clients. Everything else – prestige, recommendation, professional growth, satisfaction and well-being – would come thereafter.

We are a respected, prestigious firm in the professional, business and governmental communities, as well as in civic affairs. Most of our present clientele have been with our firm for an average of more than thirty years. We only work with clients and prospective referrals of proven trustworthiness.

We try to see a potential partner in every candidate who aspires to join our firm, in addition to the psychometric and technical examinations that they must undergo. Training and updating courses are a main component to improve the quality and productivity of our services.

Services and their cost

The professional services that we most often render are as follows:

• Financial audits, as well as for federal and local tax purposes for both private sector and government-run entities.
• Tax advisory services in connection with income tax and value added tax (VAT), as well as social security contributions and local taxes.
• Management consulting (administrative and informatics diagnosis, organizational, information and control systems, policies and procedures manuals.

The cost of our services is determined as follows:

• The degree of difficulty of the engagement to be performed;
• The number of persons involved, as well as their technical experience; and,
• The estimate of hours/time to be invested.

Locations

Since December 2009, we have been the representatives of CPA Associates International in Puebla, Pue., which is comprised of 18 firms in different states of our country, as well as by many other firms in the rest of the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
